Senior Pastor
Originally from Sri Lanka, Hilary moved to Australia with his family in 1984. He completed his theological training at Sydney Missionary and Bible College (SMBC) and has been in full time ministry since August 1998. In that time, he has served as the Youth Pastor, Young Adults Pastor and the Senior Associate Pastor at Petersham AOG (now Revive Church). Hilary stepped into the role of Senior Pastor at Parramatta Christian Church in June 2015.
Hilary's passion in ministry is seeing people come to know Jesus, grow in their faith and experience the full life He came to give. Hilary has a teaching gift and loves seeing people engage with the Bible - whether in the context of preaching at a church, teaching a class, small group discussion or chatting over a coffee.
He has been married to Dharsh since 1994, and they have two wonderful adult children - Micah and Ebonie. Hilary loves watching DVDs and going to the movies with the family, and he especially loves to use them as illustrations in his sermons. He enjoys a good curry, coffee, the beach, camping and most outdoor activities.
