Parramatta Christian Church is a multi-ethnic, multi-generational church in the heart of western Sydney.
Parramatta Christian Church is a part of the Australian Christian Churches (formerly Assemblies of God) movement and has been serving our community since the early 1980's. We are a diverse people - united by our love for Jesus and His people, and our passion to make Him known to others.
We meet every Sunday at 20 Barney Street, North Parramatta. Our services are held at 9:15am and 11am.

As a church, we believe that God has called His people to be about three main things: WORSHIP (love the Lord); COMMUNITY (love one another); and MISSION (love the lost). In light of these, we see our mission as follows:
By God's grace, Parramatta Christian Church exists to follow Christ, love His church and serve our city.
What We Believe
THE BIBLE - We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, is the ultimate authority of our faith, and clearly shows all we need for the Christian life (2 Tim 3:16)
GOD - We believe in one eternal God - infinitely good, infinitely holy and Creator and Sustainer of life. He exists in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matt 28:19).
JESUS - We believe the Lord Jesus Christ, both God and man, is our only Redeemer. Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross for us and proved his victory by His resurrection - and will return in glory as He promised.
HOLY SPIRIT - We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, enabling us to live a godly life; in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, giving us access to spiritual gifts including the speaking of tongues; and in the Holy Spirit's healing power in answer to prayer.
SALVATION - We believe that sin separates us from God, and that we are cleansed through repentance (turning from sin) and faith (trust in Jesus Christ and His complete work). We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential. We believe that our eternity in heaven or hell depends on our response to Jesus.
THE CHURCH - We believe that the church is the body of Christ, and transcends race and denomination. We believe in the church regularly coming together around the Word, fellowship, communion and prayer (Acts 2:42). We believe that every believer is called to use their individual gifts and resources to help advance God's kingdom.
We believe that believers are to observe baptism and communion. We believe that Jesus' command to "go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" is for every believer.
