Adopted For Holiness (Adopted #4) (Ephesians 1:3-8)

Louis Baron , 19/05/2019
Part of the Adopted series, preached at a Pulpit Series service

Ephesians 1:3-8. Ps Louis Baron considers the relationship between being adopted and living a holy life. Being children of God means we walk as He does. Holiness is not just an inner reality, but to be caring for others in body and soul. While the needs around us are overwhelming, understanding how precious are to our Father and the lengths He has give to for our adoption, will keep us encouraged to live lives that serve others and honour God.

Ephesians 1:3-8

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight (ESV)
